Earth Month at Our Center
April is Earth Month at The Shops at Atlas Park! Go green and check out our special events, see how our center's retailers are working toward sustainability, take our pledge to use a reusable bag, and more.
You Pledge. We Plant.
This Earth Month, we are asking you to pledge to always use a reusable shopping bag. Macerich shopping centers have partnered with One Tree Planted this April to fund reforestation and urban shade projects across the United States for every pledge made. We can do this together! Follow us on Facebook and LIKE our post to pledge.
About One Tree Planted
Our Earth Month partner, One Tree Planted, is a nonprofit devoted to planting trees in both open spaces and urban areas. They also do educational outreach to teach communities about the importance of trees and motivate the next generation to do something positive for the environment. Trees are such an essential part of restoring nature and biodiversity, so help us help One Tree Planted plant more of them!

Dining:
Starbucks
Starbucks is working towards a goal of all cups being reusable or compostable by 2030. To achieve this goal, you can now get a “for here” cup at locations with café seating, refill your own reusable cup (including mobile orders), or use a one-time-use cup engineered to be constructed of more recycled materials and less plastic.

Subway
By designing packaging with reusability, recyclability and end-of-life as top considerations alongside functionality and food safety, Subway aims to reduce natural resource consumption and our overall waste stream. They do this through product design, material selection and by supporting increased recovery.
